A trav\u00e9s de un comunicado, la GCCh inform\u00f3 que desde febrero ha intensificado las patrullas policiales en esta zona, actuando contra los buques ilegales e infractores de conformidad con la ley y las normas, al tiempo que ha reforzado el control sobre las zonas mar\u00edtimas pertinentes, manteniendo as\u00ed la soberan\u00eda territorial y los intereses mar\u00edtimos de China. El 21 de febrero la GCCh expuls\u00f3 barcos filipinos que hab\u00edan ingresado ilegalmente en aguas territoriales de China frente a Huangyan Dao.
