El epicentro fue ubicado en los 35,31 grados de latitud norte y los 99,56 grados de longitud este, a una profundidad de 10 kil\u00f3metros, de acuerdo con el CENC. Dos terremotos m\u00e1s intensos, de magnitud 5,7 y 5,8, sacudieron el distrito a las 11:16 y las 11:34 horas de la ma\u00f1ana del mismo d\u00eda, respectivamente. No se han reportado v\u00edctimas a consecuencia de los dos terremotos anteriores. Seg\u00fan las autoridades locales, los sismos causaron da\u00f1os de diversa gravedad en viviendas, carreteras e infraestructuras en siete localidades del distrito.
